2026 ‘Island Tales' collection
Our 2026 ‘Island Tales' scarf collection comprises 14 exclusive patterns inspired by our home country, Taiwan. They include a unique collaboration with renowned Taiwanese calligrapher Tong Yang-tze (b.1942), creator of The Met’s 2025 Great Hall Commission, and seven patterns derived from our monumental public art installation for Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (2025). Each original pattern is influenced by Taiwan’s majestic natural landscape, rich cultural history and dynamic urban life and industry – from spectacular mountain ranges, lush forests and contemplative temples to the mighty and unpredictable ocean, bustling cities and innovative digital technologies. These elegant patterns capture the spirit, sanctity and resilience of a truly special and unique island and its peoples.
