100 Reasons to Fly: A Digital Interactive Experience

This project brings public art beyond its site, fostering connections between people. In the dynamic, story-filled space of an airport, we use art to reimagine flight and rediscover Taiwan. This event spans two locations—from the artwork “Gateway to Taiwan: Island Tales” at Taoyuan Airport T3 to Gallery Cho in Taipei—inviting broader participation.

Participants engage with “mov.i.see” “—our human-machine co-creation tool combining motion capture and visual creation—and one of our public art creative tools. It guides users to find their “own color,” transforming movement into unique visual patterns which are printed onto T-shirts. This makes creativity accessible to everyone.

Through this experience, participants connect airports with art and leave lasting impressions. Travelers encounter Taiwan’s stories, while airport staff gain insight into the creative process. The event also reflects the role of “Gateway to Taiwan” within the airport, using art as a platform for cross-cultural exchange and introducing Taiwan to the world.

We thank the airport organizers for their support and everyone who joined us. The T-shirts created will be sent worldwide—we look forward to seeing how you style them.
