Melodious Collection
for Fu Jen Catholic University
YEN TING CHO Studio was commissioned to design a unique commemorative collection to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Fu Jen Catholic University (FJCU), Taiwan. Utilizing our own digital art technology to capture the university's history, spirit, and core values, we produced two exclusive designs to mark the centenary.
Design Concept
The "Melodious Collection" draws inspiration from FJCU’s outstanding contributions across fields that include medicine, society, history, and sports. These elements were interpreted and reinterpreted visually using YEN TING CHO Studio’s ‘mov.i.see’ digital technology to create digital patterns that embody Fu Jen's core values of social responsibility and holistic education.
Golden Spirit
Inspired by Fu Jen Catholic University's school anthem, history, and athletic spirit, this design interprets its rich cultural heritage. The central character "Ren", in gold, responds to Fu Jen’s core vision - resilience and honor - and represents the glory of its historical legacy.
Benevolence
Benevolence celebrates Fu Jen Catholic University's contribution s to medicine and society. This design weaves a rational and emotional pattern, with each square conveying the philosophy of Fu Jen, eternally transmitting love and care.

The packaging design for the "Melodious Collection" combines minimalist aesthetics with rich symbolism, perfectly capturing the artistic essence of the collection as a whole. The exquisite patterns and the Fu Jen Catholic University crest featured on the packaging emphasize dignity and honor, allowing each recipient to appreciate the preciousness and thoughtfulness of the commemorative gift. The packaging is meticulously designed to protect the products whilst enhancing their presentation.
